In late 2019 Dalara Pastoral approached BCF Concreting to construct a 1,000 head feedlot near Blackville NSW to assist Dalara Pastoral manage feeding of stock during the height of the 2017-2019 drought.
Pricing was very competitive for the steel yard fabrication, concrete bunk manufacture and installation and all other associated work for feedlot construction except for installation of the shade cloth. The work was completed on time and within estimate during one of the hottest spells encountered at Blackville for many years. Temperatures ranged up to 45 deg C and during these hot days work continued unabated. The standard of workmanship was excellent and the communication between contractor and principal was exceptional. When modifications to plans were required the revised work was done professionally and without complaint or extra unwarranted charges.
If Dalara was to extend the yards or planned to build another feedlot, we would not hesitate to call on Mick Davis and his crew again. In fact, we recommended him to a colleague who has used his services for a similar job.

I am writing to express my gratitude for the excellent job you did building my feedlot at Lloma in August and September this year.
The quality of the finished product is first-class and exactly as expected.
I very much appreciated your attention to detail in delivering an excellent outcome.
I also appreciated your excellent communication with me to point out where the design could be improved, and your cooperative and helpful approach to sorting through the numerous little challenges during construction.
The industriousness of you and your crew was evident from the speed at which you got the job done, notwithstanding the high quality being maintained at all times.
I believe that your ability to control all aspects of the job; steel, concrete and construction; and your innovative methods of casting concrete feed bunks, attaching cables to fences etc. provides the opportunity for you to get the job done very efficiently and cost-effectively, as was the case with my job.
Furthermore, your friendly and professional approach to the whole job made it a pleasure to deal with you.
I have no hesitation in recommending you and your team for any similar work and would be happy to provide a reference by phone or email if required.
Best wishes for all your future endeavours.

BCF Concreting Solutions have successfully quoted on two jobs for the Australian Indigenous Agribusiness Co. Pty Ltd (AIA Co) at their fattening properties west of Rockhampton. These two jobs demonstrate the versatility and excellence in workmanship Mick Davis and his team can provide. One job was a new set of steel cattle yards and the other a goose neck stock trailer.
The cattle yards at Tiamby, 35 kilometres south of Banana, were erected in two weeks from start to finish and approx. $60 k less than the other quotes. The stock trailer is of robust design and a pleasure to tow. After sales service is second to none.
I would not hesitate to recommend BCF Concreting Solutions to anyone requiring excellence in manufacture at a competitive price.
